DREAMS WHILING AWAY
How the sunshine seems to weave,
Dancing through those tree tops,
Leaves aglow with fire and light,
Dimmed in stately austerity,
Silken edges, wrought with patterns,
Woven by flowers, blooming in the spring.

Below the path runs on,
Weaving through the woods,
Running across lands,
Of veiled misty enchantment,
With a never a thought or concern,
For the land that passes by.

Through spaces left free above,
Where sunshine streams in through,
A glimpse of the sky,
A cloud or two,
Passing by, in their lofty post,
Appears to me so vast.

A simple figure,
In bonnet, and basket,
Runs through the floundering expanse,
That with calm aloofness,
And frigid soberiety,
Waves it by, without a sigh.

The woods, now so dark and frought with danger,
Will some time thin out to plains,
Where light swoops past, scattering the wind,
That falls lightly on the ground.
Then the enchantment of what lies behind,
Shall appear as a memory, faint, perhaps, but welcome.

Did you write this? And are you still 14? If so, wow. That is impressive. You are quite the writer and bibliophile it seems. Keep it up!
