A LETTER FROM THE PAST |
Thinking and reminscing, About things long gone, Of times past return, Of people no more, Yet there in stranded islands of memory, In inaccessible terrains, Plotted not on any map, Memories flood back, Or were they ever gone?
Bits and pieces, Odds and ends, Of happenings and loves and losses, I'm reminded of.
Far away from those times, In a place from where, I can only look back, I see the valleys and peaks, The flowers in a riot of colours, And remember every detail, Every turn, every, nook, every cranny, Of that land.
Perhaps 'tis true, All good things pass, And all too soon, But that they happened, Is a miracle indeed, And something that I, Can forever cherish, And dream about, And remember... Forever and ever...Labels: Poems |
